About the destination

Islantilla is a beach and community formed by the coastal municipalities of Isla Cristina and Lepe, located in the province of Huelva, Andalusia, in the known as Costa de la Luz, southwest of Spain. The commonwealth was born in 1991 with the aim of being one of the tourist references in the province of Huelva. It is located between the beach of Urbasur to the west and La Antilla, to the east. Its name derives from the union of Isla Cristina and La Antilla. In 2010 it had 1,261 inhabitants, divided between 528 in Isla Cristina and 733 in Lepe. The continuous urban fabric of more than 5 kilometers long that goes from Urbasur to La Antilla.
