Vilamoura Portugal

Vilamoura is an unincorporated area on the southern coast of Portugal, comprising one of the largest single tourist complexes in Europe and with about 2,000 hectares of land. The nearest airport is in Faro. It comprises one of the three corners of what is today known as Algarve's Golden Triangle. The area previously hosted the annual Almond Blossom Cross Country competition between 1996 and 2003,[1] and the same course was selected as the venue for the 2000 IAAF World Cross Country Championships.
